The Mind Body Well 'Emotional Coping Series' provides the opportunity to learn practical information and develop psychological skills within a supportive group environment, facilitated by an experienced Mind Body Well therapist. The content will be presented across four sequential modules, with the FIRST module focusing on developing healthy strategies to cope with emotional distress. The Emotional Coping Series is based on Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and has been adapted specifically for people with eating or body image concerns.
Sessions will be held live online via Zoom.
The Emotional Coping Series its comprised of 3 x 5 session modules, which will be conducted live online on the following dates:
Distress Tolerance: 3rd - 31st March, 2022
Emotion Regulation: 7th April - 5th May, 2022
Interpersonal Effectiveness: 13th May - 9th June, 2022
