Dominique is a psychologist who focuses on providing client-centred care which is inclusive and integrative based on individual needs and goals. She is passionate about helping people improve their relationship with food, their body and movement. Dominique works with a diverse range of clients, including members of the LGBTIQA+ and gender diverse communities and with neurodivergent individuals. She has a special interest in working with dancers and women through conception, pregnancy and post-partum.
Dominique works with a range of mental health concerns, most commonly including:
Eating Disorders and disordered eating
Body image concerns
Anxiety and depression
Stress management and general wellbeing
Dominique has trained in a range of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT and CBT-E), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM). She also draws on self-compassion and mindfulness-based approaches to support her clients. Dominique is aligned with size inclusive care and practices using a non-diet approach.
